Spartanburg, S.C., September 3, 2025 – Denny’s is taking waffles to the next level for National Waffle Week with a crave-worthy celebration of creativity, sweet and savory flavor combinations and fan-favorite food hacks.  

From September 7-13, guests are invited to celebrate Waffle Week at home by building indulgent waffle sandwiches that are as bold as they are delicious. To make it even easier, fans will enjoy a Buy One, Get One (BOGO) deal only on Dennys.com - grab one Berry Waffle Slam® or Waffle Slam® and get another entrée of equal or lesser value for free. Twice the waffles mean twice the ways to build bold, delicious creations.

For inspiration, America’s Diner is sharing two fan-favorite, DIY waffle sandwich hacks: 

Chicken & Waffles Sandwich Hack 

Order a Waffle Slam and Premium Chicken Tenders. 

Stack one waffle, three crispy tenders, and bacon. 

Top with another waffle. 

Drizzle with maple syrup for the perfect sweet-savory combo.

The Waffleburger Hack 

Order a Waffle Slam and a Single Cheeseburger with Onion Rings. 

Stack: waffle → onion ring → burger patty with cheese → onion ring → waffle.

Denny’s teamed up with @allaboutvibe to design a set of craveable giant waffle pillows made especially for true fans. Guests can join the fun by sharing their own waffle creations on social using #dennysbigwaffle.
